Associates in Nephrology is one of the largest nephrology groups in the Midwest, serving 20 plus dialysis centers and affiliated with over 35 hospitals in the Chicagoland area. The Associates have various outpatient sites utilizing the OwlMD scheduler. They especially appreciated the ability to make appointments from central as well as satellite locations (with the proper I.D. and passwords). They were also impressed with the ability to view a patient’s account on an immediate basis to address any billing discrepancies or questions. It was also easy to learn if the patient was required to submit a "co-pay". One site also has an exceptionally high "no-show" rate and is addressing this problem with the help of the scheduler.

Partners in Primary Care has been serving the northwest Chicago suburbs for over twenty years. A busy internal medicine practice, they have two full time physicians and a full service ambulatory care setting (x-ray, lab, pulmonary function screening, vision and audio screening, EKG’s, etc.). The primary care specialty makes them gatekeepers for many HMO’s requiring detailed insurance information and tight tracking of referral forms. The practice is very happy with OwlMD’s ability to prepare a comprehensive patient list that the physician can access from home. The comprehensive registration form integrated with the Accounts Receivable information helps control all required paperwork.
